Often we mis-take the actions of our body… We fail to understand what it says and proceed in a wrong way… Using medicines for minor health disturbances falls under such kind of act…

Unnecessary use of medicines actually cause more harm to our body than good…

I tell you how…

Biology is a unique, dynamic and self-evolving product of interaction between physics and chemistry”. I say – a Healthy Body is a very complex and dynamic equilibrium attained out of numerous physical and chemical interactions. An ailment is any disturbance or alteration of this equilibrium state…

So it is obvious that such a disturbance can arise by a wrongful interaction of physical factors or chemicals from within (Disorder) or outside (Disease)… But still, our body is already empowered with all the necessary systems to undo most of such disturbances by itself…

Well, A medicine is often composed of one or more highly active and target specific chemicals to act on the body… It can even alter the way a system works… If such potent chemicals are not employed for real and actual reasons in a correct manner, unforeseen complications arise…

I think that it is time that I share with you a small saying, very popular in our language… “Common cold subsides in 7days if you take medicines and in a week’s time if you don’t take any”. Over 90% of what ever health issues we are facing these days are like common cold… 😉

So, if you are ready to give-up the ‘want’ for medicines for minor issues, immense faith is required… Faith in what you are doing is the a prime requisite in any system of medicine…

YOUR BODY IS THE DOCTOR… Why are we not being able to treat a dead body..? Because it is the body which applies what you give it. It knows where, what and how to do things and can take good care of itself…

Now, obviously, DISEASE IS THE PATIENT, which is to be cured…

SUFFERING IS THE TREATMENT… May be I have stated it in a rude manner… It doesn’t actually mean suffer, but the time required by the body to respond to the issue… Research says that it takes about 3-5 days for our immune system to respond to stimuli and act upon… Give it that time and look for signs of betterment…

RIGHT FOOD IS THE DIET… There is apparently no disease or disorder wherein one Shouldn’t take anything… At the same time, there are always a few things that you should avoid, a few more that are recommended to be taken and many with no such restriction… Food we take plays an important role in health and disease… Often Whole foods are recommended than their essence alone like juices, etc… the concepts of Nutraceuticals, Functional Foods, etc describe the importance…

A LITTLE WORK IS THE RIGHT PRACTICE… Again, engaging yourself in absolutely nothing increases your consciousness over the problem which makes you suffer more than otherwise… No doubt you should get enough rest… But, at the same time, some easy activities that keep you engaged are essential. Remember, “Change of Work is Rest”.

A GOOD HOPE WILL ALWAYS ADD TO THE RESULT… Consider health issues as a break from the boring routine, some rest to your physical and psychological being, the time to spend with your friends and family, and a chance to better your health rather than as a problem… Neither say Why Me nor say Try Me”. Never challenge. Pay it a little respect. Change your day accordingly…
