A Colorful Feast for Eyes and Heart – Deepawali

Deepawali (The Indian Festival of Lights) is my favorite of all and is so for all my cousins…

The much awaited night has finally come… We began the preparations early in the day and were waiting for the night to get thicker… That way, we can enjoy the vivid colors spread by the crackers so well… πŸ™‚

Like always, it all started with ‘Deepaaradhana’ (lightning and worshiping the lights) and decorating them all the house…

Once its done, we are a go to play with the crackers, light ’em up and burn them to ashes! 😑

We first stayed for a little while at our home, lit a few crackers…

While going up…

After it has gone up!

Then, we all went to our grandma’s place where we had some louder blasts, higher rackets and brighter lights… All other cousins joined there and we had a lot of fun…

Light Fountains…!

We started at around 6:30pm and stopped reluctantly at 10pm…

This time, it was more encouraging than the last few years as almost all my cousins came to our place and we all celebrated it together…!

Finally, we all had sweets, exchanged a lot of fun words about the last years and now, had dinner and returned to our homes…

At the end of the day, we all had a Fantabulus, Roaring, Colourful and SAFE Diwali…!
