The Energy Equivalence ‘FOR HEALTH’…!

The title may seem a bit odd… but, please ‘stay tuned’ till the end to find out if it is the perfect fit for this article…

Well, I shall start with a Question… (dont worry… Its not too tough)…What is the DIFFERENCE between a NUCLEAR POWER REACTOR and a NUCLEAR WEAPON (like an atom bomb)…!?

As I said… Right. Not too tough… here lies MY VERSION…In a reactor, the ENERGY PRODUCTION is LIMITED to meet the ENERGY CONSUMPTION or REQUIREMENT…While in a bomb, ENERGY PRODUCTION is WAY BEYOND the manageable LIMIT and all that is left freewithout a window for proper utilization…!

By now, you know that any EXCESS energy will only lead to DISTRUCTION…!

 This is true in all circumstances… HIGHER the Energy, LESSER is the STABILIY… Not only in Physics and Chemistry, but the same rule fits for all LIVING BEINGS as well…!Trust me on this… Being a student of Life-Sciences, I know this better than any other person…

 Now, We derive energy from two sources

                    FOOD;

                    BRAIN.

 I will First deal with the BRAIN…

 “Brain” is the chief controlling organ of our body… Your bodily responses, however big or small they are; Decisions; Intelligence; likes and dislikes; Perception of a situation; infact, your every move is actually directed from the Brain…It extends such control by Generating Electrical Signals (called nerve impulses), which of course is a form of energy…!

 Here is how it works…

 Case 1 : You are RUNNING or CYCLING…!

          What’s happening here is ‘your brain is generating energy (Impulses) in order to balance your body, coordinate your hands, legs, etc and also is constantly looking the world around to keep you safe…’ Well, that’s a lot of energy… and in response to all of that, your muscles are also working pretty hard to keep moving and that causes ENERGY-CONSUMPTION BALANCE… and that will keep you HEALTHY…!

          So is with many other activities that demand “PHYSICAL INPUT”

Case 2 : You are Playing a Computer Racing game…!

          Your Brain is now working and radiating energy at a rate of 150miles/hr or even more and all you are doing physically is moving 3fingers around 4keys… Such Activities create A LOT OF GAP between the PRODUCTION and CONSUMPTION of ENERGY, thus leaving a lot of FREE ENERGY within your body…!

          So is with many other Works that demands “MENTAL STRAIN”

 All this energy is responsible for most of the Health problems like Restlessness, Sleep Deprivation, General Weakness, etc at minimum and Immune Depression (More chance for Infections), Degenerative Diseases (Diabetes, Parkinson’s Disease), Auto-Immune Diseases, and even Cancer at the worst situation…

 Now comming to the FOOD…

This tells you How to Do it...!

I do not think anything new must be said about this food thing… A lot of awareness has been gained in this aspect these days… Still, I really want to cover a few important things…

          Eat home-made foods and avoid all the fast-foods;

          See that your food contains a lot of Roughage in it;

          Remember that “A healthy dite practice should be like NO FEAST, NO FAST”;

          Eat Fresh foods and AVOID TINNED Foods;

 You should remember that GOOD FOOD provides you not only with Carbohydrates and Fats, but also with all other Macro and Micro Nutrients…

 I found a small Software (Only for Windows) to elucidate the Nutritive Values of various Food Items… @ Nutritive Values of Food Items… Hope this will help you choose the better ones…

 Now it is your turn to find ways for FILLING THE GAP between Energy Production and Consumption in order to be Happily Healthy…

 Just remember; You do one of these two things Every Day… You either BUILD HEALTH or DISEASE in YOURSELF…

 Also Keep in Mind that Too Much of Anything is good for Nothing… So, Start or Stop anything Slowly and try keeping the change consistent to obtain the Best Results

 Take Care…!

The ‘Paradox’ Behind Life…

Three pairs of paradoxical needs drive human life. And they are,
1. Certainty and uncertainty.
2.
Individuality and connectedness.
3.
Having and giving.

Man gets tossed between these paradoxical needs because when one need is satiated the other is starved. Then, you focus on satiating the latter, only to end up starving the former. Understand this paradox and you will understand life.

First Paradox: Certainty provides order. Uncertainty provides growth. Both order and growth are needed to complete life. And, that’s the first paradox. You want certainty. So, you try to achieve certainty by trying to control everything around you. Now, when your life becomes completely certain, when things become predictable, you become bored. That’s why you lose interest in a work that you know you can handle. So, while you want certainty, you simultaneously also want a certain amount of variety, which comes only out of uncertainty. You need surprises and challenges for you to feel fully alive. Too much certainty is boredom. Unfortunately, once you hurl yourself completely into uncertainty for the sake of versatility and challenges, with too much uncertainty you become extremely nervous and concerned. You again seek a degree of certainty. Two sides of the same coin but you keep toggling between the two sides, causing a roller coaster ride in the flow and rhythm of your life…

Second Paradox: As a physical being you are the only one of your kind, absolutely unique and individualistic. But at the same time, as a spiritual being, the spirit of life that enlivens you is also the same spirit that enlivens all. So, spiritually you are connected to one and all. Both individuality and connectivity are needed to complete life. And, that’s the second paradox. As a unique individual, you need identity. You need significance. If you don’t find the right ways to feel significant, the sheer desperation to fulfil this need might even propel you to choose wrong ways to feel significant. Some people even become unique by developing extreme problems that set them apart from others. In fact, most people develop the subconscious ability to make themselves ill in order to gain the caring attention of others. From dressing in certain ways to carrying a certain style, all stem from this need. Obviously, when your trumpet is too loud, others will begin to withdraw from you. That’s why, you lose out on relationships; at least people begin to distance themselves. Now you feel separated. Now you feel lonely and isolated. So, you crave for connectedness. You want to be cared for and cared about. You want to feel one with the crowd. To meet this need, you join a fraternity or a club. Any form of gang is okay. Once you feel so well connected, you will again feel as if you have lost your own identity in a crowd. And, the seesaw of being tossed from one need to another only continues…

Third Paradox: Life is a flow and this flow is achieved through possessing and sharing. Both having and giving are needed to complete life. And, that’s the third paradox. The need to have and the need to give. The need to consume and the need to contribute. The need for accumulation and the need for renunciation. The toss is between selfishness (instinctive) and unselfishness (conscience).And, the oscillation is between being spiritual in giving and being materialistic in having…

While everything you do will be tossed between these paradoxes, if you can find a few activities in your life, which fulfils all the six needs and gives you that balance in life, you will discover a new zeal in life… the kinds you have never experienced ever before. That’s the secret to a complete life.

With Infinite Love…

Be Peaceful…

Wishing you Most and more in everything you seek. Wishing you, above everything else, peace.

To be peaceful, remember no gain is a gain, if it is gained at the cost of your peace. Let peace be the constant, and let everything else be a variable. Everything is meaningful only in the context of peace. There is no meaning to anything without peace. So, put your peace above everything else.

To be peaceful, you will have to take care of your physical well-being. So, invest one hour a day on the body and cherish the benefit of it during the remaining twenty-three hours. Predominantly be attracted by health-conscious foods and only occasionally be distracted by tongue-conscious foods.

To be peaceful, you must invest in silence. The cluttered mind needs quite moments. Franz Kafka so eloquently put it: “It is not necessary that you leave the house. Remain at your table and listen. Do not even listen; only wait. Do not even wait; be wholly still and alone. The world will present itself to you for its unmasking, it can do no other, in ecstasy it will writhe at your feet.” Let all your doing be punctuated by non-doing. Even if you have not been initiated into meditation, at least practice stillness, for sometime, everyday.

To be peaceful, you must celebrate work. Hold the sanctity of work above everything, and everything else will flow into your life as natural byproducts. It is a true story that Dave Anderson and Jim Murphy joined American Railways on the same day. Twenty years later, Dave was still doing the same job but Jim became the Chairman of Railways. Dave said, “I came to work for $1.75 an hour; Jim came to work for American Railways. That made all the difference.” Work is your only salvation. Work is the only way to progress. Nothing develops man like work does. Work must be the primary form of worship.

To be peaceful, be slow to judge and quick to forgive. Express gratitude, but do not expect gratitude. Receive gracefully and give gleefully. What you expect from others, first expect from yourself. Be dependable and not dependent. Be expressive with your love. Be demonstrative with your happiness. Rejoice the unpredictability of life. Trust. If your trust is betrayed, trust again. Celebrate all the good news. Don’t get carried away by all the bad news – that world is not that bad. Bring some selflessness into your life. Serve in some capacity, some cause, expecting nothing in return. Be a multi-role wonder by bringing balance into your life. Have faith on that one Connect that’s beyond your judgment. Play the game of your life to your heart’s content… play it right… play it well. Play it peacefully. Play it for peace. Play it with peace. And, always remember, life is just a matter of choice made by yourself…

Get all the small things of your life right, and the big reward from life will be your peace. With peace, you will find silence.  Always remember… “Society tells you how you are… Silence tells you how you want to be…” In silence, you will find the actual YOU and through that, you will find everything else.
